Arturo Tallini and Sanna Varrni, Finnish pianist, share the life and the music.
In this concert, they combine the classical way to think the music with XX e XXI century music atmosphere and structures.
The Spanish soul of the guitar lives in the piano music by Mompou as also in his Suite Compostelana.
Tierkreis is a piece for any instrument by Karlheinz Stockhausen and it is probably his most known piece. The composer writes 12 melodies (for 12 zodiacal signs) and asks the interpreter to cooperate in the composition with is own variations and transforming those melodies in finished compositions. This piece adds to the concert a mystical flavour.
With Castelnuovo-Tedesco Fantasia, Impressionism and Spanish music live together throughout the refined art of the Italian composer.
The concert ends with the most known piece for guitar; Concierto de Aranjuez in which lightness and intelligence meet themselves.
